The things kids say and do...

I have to tell you what our kids did to Grandpa the last time they stayed with Grandpa and Grandma B.
Na was talking to Grandpa at her usual speed (fast) and Grandpa said, "Slow down I can't understand you." Na replied, "Listen faster Grandpa!"
Ree was helping build the playhouse. Grandpa got home from work and needed to go to scouts. Ree was ready to help and asked when they could start working on it. Grandpa said, "I can't tonight I have scouts." Ree looked at him with her pouty eyes and said, "You'd rather go to scouts than spend time with us?" He said that he has never felt so guilty about going to scouts.

The other day we were watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I looked at Vin and saw that he was crying. I asked, "What's wrong?" He said, "Sometimes I cry when I see other people cry." We told him that it is okay, we do too.

Things like that make me grateful for kids and the joy they bring to my life!
