Portraits

Tonight I spent some time updating the look of my blog. It's amazing how long it can take when you can't decide which look you like the best!



For President's Day the kids didn't have school. I went to the gym for about an hour (the kids went to the child care center). This evening we went to Kiddie Kandids and had a couple pictures taken of our four kids. During FHE we gave a 5x7 to Steve, as an early birthday gift. He's been asking for a new picture of the kids to put on his desk at work.



It was frustrating. K didn't want to sit for the pictures. Then Na got tired and stopped smiling. Although the one time I told them to make a silly face she did a beautiful smile. Oh well, at least we got a couple of pictures.

Recently Kiddie Kandids changed their birthday club. They use to offer a free 8x10 within a month of your childs 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th birthday. Now they offer a free 8x10 until the 10th birthday. I prefer them to the company that does our school pictures. I like seeing a picture before I buy it. The photographer at school requires that you decide what package you want then pay for it before the picture is taken. Although they do send home a proof when you don't buy the individual picture to try and get you to purchase a portrait. This year we just bought the class picture. We've decided we are going to by the class picture then go to Kiddie Kandids for the individual portraits.
