President Hinckley

On Sunday, during Sacrament meeting most people were talking about the passing of President Hinckley. One Sister said that she must be the most selfish member. Everyone she had heard speak of his death said they were happy that he is with is wife. She said her first thought was "I wish he was still with us." She felt sad that he would no longer be here leading the Lord's church. On Saturday during his funeral was the first time she felt good about him no longer being on earth. Later in the day I heard another person say they felt the same as this Sister. They got me thinking about how I feel about President Hinckley. He is the prophet I remember the best. My memories of President Benson and President Hunter is of them being in poor health. I didn't pay attention like I could have during my younger years though.

I took Na and K into Kiddie Kandids to get their birthday pictures taken. I love what a good job they do. They recently changed their birthday club so instead of getting a free 8x10 at birthdays 1 through 5 it is now 1 through 10. If you haven't ever been to Kiddie Kandid's let me know. I have a coupon for a free 8x12 perfect treasure portrait on your first visit. (They are ususally about $25).

Ree has been sick for a few days. So far she has missed two and a half days of school. I hope she gets over it soon.
