Sick

On Thursday I started with a sore throat, that is starting to go away today. On Sunday I started getting flu symptoms, last night was the worst with chills, aches, fever, etc. Today it feels like a head cold. I just love being sick. NOT!!! My sweet hubby took today off to help out and make sure I got some rest. Now I think my hubby might be coming down with it.
Our family did get a flu shot this year. The last I heard the strain of flu that is going around was not included in the flu shot. As long as we get a mild version of the flu other than the full version. ;) Although not getting it would be best.

We celebrated Steve's 31st birthday on Saturday. The kids and I gave him his presents first thing in the morning. (At least the one's we'd saved for his birthday, we are notorious for giving presents early--especially to Steve). Then we went out to breakfast. We didn't end up going out to dinner since I was ill (we got Olive Garden carry out).

My awesome neighbor, who is in the Primary Presidency, and her husband took my Sunbeam class on Sunday. I'm so grateful for great friends, neighbors, and ward members who are so willing to help when I need them to!
