A movie, book, party, and ordination

So this last week has been interesting. Friday night we went to see Steve's favorite movie http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1273140992/tt0468569 . He's seen it four times, this was my second time.

I got a new book http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/breakingdawn.html . I love this series! I tried to take my time reading it (started Sunday afternoon and finished Tuesday afternoon). Stephenie Meyer is one of my favorite authors!

Saturday we went to a party to celebrate Steve's grandpa's 90th birthday. It's nice to get to see grandparents!

Tonight my brother received the Melchizedek priesthood. What a neat experience. In the last four years I've seen his testimony grow so much. I'm so proud of him for the decisions he has made! I'm also grateful for Kayce who has been an example and help to him without pushing him, except when necessary.
I'm so grateful to Heavenly Father for His gospel. What a blessing it is to have a Melchizedek priesthood holder in my home. I'm grateful for the temple and the chance we have to be a family forever. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that He and Heavenly Father love me.

I haven't had a chance to read her new book, yet. I am trying to chug my way through my current read. I am not particularly enjoying it, but there's a sense of accomplishment that comes from finishing a 500+ page book, even if it wasn't your favorite. Soon, I'll get to "Breaking Dawn".
