The other day Na and K wanted to play in the water. I looked outside and saw these cute kids:

Na remembered to put on her swimsuit but K decided it took to long so he went for it. He played in the water in just his diaper.
Steve was out of town (business trip) last Thursday through Saturday. His bosses have been trying for the past six months to get him to go to Chicago. They finally figured out that they have to tell him he's going not ask if he will go.
Friday and Saturday Vin went camping with his grandpa, cousin, and two of his uncles. At the beginning of the camp out Vin either wandered off or got lost for a few minutes. Luckily he found his way to camp (or was helped) and stuck close to grandpa for the remainder of the trip. Grandpa said it was some of the scariest few minutes of his life!
That night Ree, Na, K and I had a "party." We got some takeout, Panda Express for me and pizza for the kids, and we rented a movie. After dinner we played outside, watched our movie, ate some ice cream, got ready for bed, watched another movie, then went to bed. Ree and Na got to stay up past 10pm, they were so excited!
School's been going really good for the kids. Vin gets to be in speech again this year. Vin really dislikes when he is not understood. They are both getting in the routine. We are fine tuning our after school activities. We have piano, reading, homework, play time, dinner, bed time, and occasionally other activities. I know it's not a ton of activities but I also don't want to over burden them. I'm hoping to add swimming lessons but for now I'm just trying to find a good schedule for all of us.

6 months??? Oh dread and horror! I'm SO sorry. Let's all hope that he doesn't have to go.
It looks like the kiddies had fun in the sprinklers! And I dig the whole party idea while your hubby's out of town. Too fun!
Sorry I had a typo. The bosses have been trying for the past six months to get Steve to go to Chicago.
Fun last minute sprinkler fun, 'cuz before we know it the snow will come, and come, and come...and stay (at least it does out here in Mapleton). Speaking of routines, isn't it amazing how fast the day goes by? How do we fit it all in? Sounds like you're figuring it out. We are driving back to Provo 3 days a week this year for dance (with Miss Denna). She must be worth it, because some days I wonder how we're gonna' do it and survive. One of these days, I need to pop over and say "hello", before it gets too cold!
desiree said wow you must have been prety besy.
