On Wednesday, I took Steve to the airport, not for work. He and a couple coworkers decided to go on a trip. They flew to Anaheim to watch the Red Sox play the Angels. They got to see Wednesday and Friday's games; the Red Sox won them both. On Thursday Steve got to go to Universal Studios, for the first time. He likes Disneyland and California Adventure a lot more. In just over two hours he'll be back.
Friday I woke up and didn't feel very good. I thought maybe I didn't eat right the day before or I didn't get enough sleep, my usual reasons for feeling sick. As the day progressed I spent plenty of time in the bathroom enjoying the company of the toilet. That evening I was thinking that I should order pizza for the kids so I don't have to make anything. Then there was a knock on my door. My neighbor brought over a pizza. She had found out that I was sick and thoughtfully brought dinner over so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Thanks Nat!
Another good thing that happened was I received a letter from Elder Brickey.

Isn't it great when others are there to touch our lives! Good friends are hard to come by, but I think it's even harder to find friends who are inspired to serve.
I love friends like that! I wish I were one of them. I'm usually the one kicking herself because she wished she would have done something to help. Hope you get feeling better!
Aren't friends and neighbors great? I love food deliveries!!
