Last night we had a party. We ordered pizza and watched movies. While we were watching Tarzan, Mike and Lexi came over and Steve got home from work. We ate some pizza while we finished Tarzan. Then we watched Transformers. (We tried to pick movies everyone likes.) While we were watching it K then Na fell asleep. We took them up and tucked them in bed. After Transformers, Mike and Lexi decided to go home. Ree, Vin, Steve, and I played MouseTrap and GuessWho. When midnight hit we turned on the TV to see the celebration and heard the First Night Celebration fireworks. Ree had her second wind and was ready to continue the party but Steve and I were exhausted so we insisted it was time for bed. Vin was also ready to go to bed. It's fun that the kids are getting old enough to have the occasional late night and hang out with us!

New Year's Eve parties are some of my favorite, especially as a kid. When else did everyone get to stay up past their bedtimes?
sounds like it was a hit! don't you love that they are getting old enough to stay up and play games, but we can still send them to bed too. AHH the best of both worlds! Congrats! on your 100th! That's awesome,
Happy New Year!! Sounds like you had a good time. Everyone stayed up here including the little ones. Had some good banging of pots and pans. You can thank Marci Carlson for teaching us that tradition. :D
