Classic Skating or Roller Derby?

Saturday we celebrated one of our niece's birthday at Classic Skating. The kids had so much fun. They took a while getting comfortable and were still unsure about the skates by the end of the party. They want to go back soon.

Here is Steve helping Vin get his skates under him:

This is Vin upset because Steve suggested he skate in the small area to keep safe:

Here is Na enjoying the scooter, we traded the skates for a scooter after just a few minutes:

K loved the scooter! He was so worn out he slept on the ride home.

Look at Ree go!

Go Vin go!

This was Ree's favorite way to skate. She informed Steve that she needs more daddy daughter dates.

Vin got tired so we traded the skates for a scooter.

Making a train for one of the songs:

As for the roller derby:
Tonight I took a picture of the worst bruise on Ree's knees.

The poor girl keep falling and hitting her knee in the same spot.

What a fun idea! I haven't been roller skating since the Bonton was still up in Payson! Cute, cute kids!

Looks like the family had a great time. Barbara told me everyone had fun. I'm going to have to remember it for my grandkids.
