On Friday I had all four of my kids home from school. Vin's viral cold spread throughout our house. By that afternoon they were claiming they were well enough to go to school for the Valentine's parties. So we went to school and dropped off the cookies to Ree's class and took the cookies to Vin's class and helped with his class party. After school, Vin and Na went to the primary party and loved it. That evening we skipped Martial Arts. Saturday we took it easy and relaxed. For dinner Saturday night we ordered take out from the Olive Garden. We lit some candles and had a candlelight dinner with the kids. Not the most romantic, but with sick kids and the reservations to our favorite restaurant not working out, I enjoyed it.
I don't have candle stick holders and couldn't find any for the skinny candle sticks so I got these and added the marble stones to support the candlestick.
Sunday Steve and the kids stayed home while I went to YW's, then to my uncle and aunt's for a birthday celebration for my grandma, then to our bishop's home for Bishop Youth Night.
Today the kids and I spent most of the day relaxing. I hope they finish getting better quickly! I feel so bad for them listening to their hoarse voices.

We spent Valentine's with our kids, too. It was lovely, let me tell you, with four screaming kids around. No, it really wasn't that bad. Darin made dinner for me and my sister and her "man". The kids had hot dogs. We then did chocolate fondue. Yummy. No it wasn't as romantic as it could've been, but I guarantee you it was more personal than going to a restaurant with an hour and a half wait!
