Grandpa's Temple Day

My Dad's parents have struggled with being active in the LDS church throughout most of their lives. Over the last few years my Grandpa has worked toward becoming active. He has even taken the steps to become temple worthy. So on Saturday, a bunch of us were able to go to the temple with him as he attended the temple for the first time.

Grandpa was sealed to his wife (who passed away 15 years ago this summer), then four of their children were seal to them, then Grandpa was sealed to his parents.

What a great day! I'm so glad I was able to witness this important day!

Afterwards we went to Grandpa's house for some food and visiting.

What a great event. It just goes to show we are never to old to change and the Lord still wants us at any age. I'm so happy you got to go!

That is so neat that your Grandfather finally got a chance to be sealed to his wife. I bet he is so happy. I like to hear stories like that one.
