Our Elementary school does a skate night. Everyone who goes to the school, works at the school, etc. is invited to come mingle and get to know each other. Here are a few shots of the kids having fun:
Our ward does a 5K walk/run every fall for the past (I'm not sure how many) years. Steve and I decided to give it a try this year. Steve took the stroller with two almost 50 pound kids (Na and K) and he ran/walked it in 44.14. I have been training longer than Steve and I came in at 44.18. Vin walked the entire 5K (Thanks Sister Ebel!) Ree did part of it then decided to turn around.
After the 5K participants are all back they gather all the kids who want to run a mile and have them race. All four of our kids gave it a try.
Ree hurt her foot and turned back early, and K wasn't up to going very far. Great try you two!
Vin walk/jogged the mile! He amazes me that he can walk a 5K then do the mile and still run and be "crazy" afterwards.
Na walked a lot of it but she did the whole mile. Way to go Na!

Great job Ritchie's!!! Where did you guys run the race it looks pretty.
The race was on the Provo River Trail. We started by Geneva Road and headed toward the boat harbor.
How fun! Brian and the kids went to the skate night. I started there and quickly came home when my allergies were such I couldn't breathe!

That's so great! I can't imagine pushing ONE 50 lb. kid in a stroller. I can barely drag my big butt across the finish line. I'm excited for October...it will be so fun!

Thank's Shauna! Ree's foot is better. She was wearing incorrect shoes for running and her feet hurt from that. Now she is back to normal.
Great job on the run!! Your looking good by the way! We had a blast at the skate party too, but left early for the fact that Ashton scootered so long he literaly couldnt walk.. It was to funny.. We need to have the girls play one of these days.
