Ree wanted to make a blanket for her cousin, who will be born in April. She picked out the fabric. I marked where she needed to cut. She cut then tied. It looks great!
My friend is having her first girl, she is blessed with four boys. So I made these for her.
I made these for my sister (same sister Ree made the blanket for)
Steve turned another year older and we celebrated by having Lasagna and Apple Pie the night before his birthday and French Dip Sandwiches on his birthday. Yummmm!
The kids have been outside enjoying the warmer temperatures. K had a run in with a metal bat. Luckily the goose egg is the only injury!
I've been getting together with friends to crochet and knit. We decided to branch out and do more crafts. So today we made zipper flowers. So much fun! Now I just have to decide what I want to put them on.

I have to admit you're the one who inspired me to make some quick projects. The gifts you gave to Nicki were so cute!
Are the zip flowers made from zippers?
You did a great job! I love making stuff also. For goose eggs butter works great just rub it on!
Mich: yes, the flowers are half of a zipper.
Shauna: thanks, I'll try the butter.
My Grandma ball would love you. She loved doing crafts also. I still have a pillow top that she had made me but have not wanted to use it. I like keeping it for as a treasure from her.
Looks like you have been busy. Everything turned out so cute! That is fun that Desiree is old enough that she is able to do things like making that blanket! Glad the goose egg is all he got from the bat. It is a good thing kids are a lot tougher than you think!
I love that you put a crumb crust on Steve's apple pie! Those are my fave!
Okay. Now I feel REALLY lazy after seeing all you've accomplished! You are amazing!
Happy B-day Steve!
Poor K! But he's still smiling! Cute kid.
Seriously depressed! Actually, I think it is fabulous that you have been doing so much. What fun projects!
Wow all your projects look so nice.. Poor K's head! MMMM Pie that looks so yummy.. Soon I need to start figuring out how to make yummy treats I can actually eat.
Wow...nice job Cassie. You are very crafty! You should sell the baby sets. They are very cute!!
The butter really is a miracle drug. It takes the bump and the bruising away the next morning. I know it sounds crazy but it really works!
Grandma would be so proud of you! I still have the afghan she made for me. And Ree's following right in your footsteps!
Holy Goose Egg, Batman! Heh heh heh. I'm glad you got a picture to document it! :)
Wow! All I can say is, "where do you find the time?!" You are amazing.
