Primary Program

I have so much respect for the Primary Presidency of any ward. Especially when I see the Primary Program.

Today was our ward’s primary program. We have over 400 people in our ward. Over 200 of those people are under the age of 12. Approximately 160 children are in primary, plus there are 50 to 60 children in nursery.

The children sang beautifully. During the song “Follow the Prophet” they even sang at different volumes with each “Follow the Prophet” (of the chorus) getting progressively louder.

They had the classes do the speaking parts as a group for the most part; with a few children doing individual parts.

I love the spirit that I feel during the primary program!

I thought our ward was huge with 40 kids in nursery and 120 in primary!

I bet it is really nice having all of your kids in the program!

I do too! The primary presentation is the best! Dylan's part this year was hilarious. He lost his two front teeth so it was really hard for him to pronounce some of the words. When he talked you couldn't help but laugh.

If everyone had speaking parts, that would be so long! Crazy to go from our ward to that ward! our primary is so small compared to that

i really felt that way about this program down here as well. i was AMAZED. just amazed. 250 primary age kids in our ward. yes. not a typo there. 2.5.0. we have over 50 in nursery. well over. it is INSANE. 3 very full nurseries. i am sure this ward will split soon. they just have to. not enough room :)

i am so impressed and inspired by those women who work so hard to pull something like this off. isn't is just AMAZING????

Wow! I would have liked to have seen your program. It would be quite the feat to pull off a program with that many kids in it!
