A little family time

These are the hats I’ve made this month:

The third grade did an egg drop. Vin’s egg didn’t break when it was dropped! Good job Vin!2010 10 09 005

Over the weekend I went to my grandparent’s to help wrap the beef. Grandpa cut the roast and steak. My dad and brothers got the beef ready for us to make ground beef. The rest of us wrapped/packaged the meat. Before our turn in the meat cutting room I got to play with my nieces and nephews. I think next time I’ll let my kids come along. They will be able to help either with the labeling and sorting or babysitting.

Sunday we went to my niece’s blessing.

Family time is always nice to have. Way to go on the egg drop. I remember doing that in junior high. I can't even remember how my egg did, it must have cracked or I'd remember.

Family gatherings can be so fun (whether it's wrapping meat, or a baby's blessing). Such a great feeling.

I love getting together with family! Your hats look great! Are there any secrets for the egg drop?

Shauna, the only suggestion I have for the egg drop is cushion. Vin uses cotton balls and straws to make sure it was protected.

What a successful person you are- meat wrapping, cute hats, egg drop, and having some of the cutest darn kids around.
