In July, we went on a campout with my parents and siblings to Payson Lakes. Thursday, Ree, Vin, Na and I headed up to set up camp. That afternoon we got there it rained and flooded where the kids and I had set up our tent. So we moved it to higher ground. When the rest of the group got there we told them the areas that flooded so they wouldn’t get flooded. Friday, we hiked to the Grotto. Then we went to the lakes to play and fish. It started raining. I got soaked. That night Steve and K came up and I was discouraged because of all the rain. That night Na got sick and threw up all over some bedding and bags. We got things rearranged and got some sleep. (No one slept in our tent because of the smell.) Saturday we ended up leaving; we were suppose to stay until Sunday. After we got home and cleaned up we went to my parents house for pizza.
In August, we went with some of Steve’s siblings to Yuba Reservoir. Wednesday we set up camp and played. Thursday we took the boat to East Beach and played. We have some great knee boarders in the family! Friday we stayed at Oasis and played. Saturday we packed up and came home.
On Aug 20th Ree had her first day of 7th grade.
Everyone else started the 21st.
