Just call me waddles :)

Monday night we went out on the boat with two of Steve's brother's, a sister-in-law, and niece. I was the first one to get wet. Man did it ever take my breathe away! I use to water ski but I haven't since I got pregnant with Ree. So I pulled the ski's on and yelled "Hit it" well.....I was unable to get up I tried several times but my legs wouldn't keep the ski's aligned. The next two days I was sore! I tried to walk normal but Steve smiled and called me "Waddles". I couldn't help but agree. I'll have to keep trying to retrain my muscles.

Today we were debating about going out. We ended up going out this evening. All of the kids got in the water (it's still really cold). Here are some pictures of the kids swimming with Steve:





Vin was the only one who wasn't sure he wanted to get in the water. Once we talked him into getting in he was ready to get out of the water really fast.

Ree in/on the tube:



She is getting pretty comfortable with her life jacket on. Steve, Ree, and I all tubed for a while. We want to get a bigger tube (two or three person) so Steve or I can ride with the younger kids until we are confident they are comfortable with their life jackets and being in the water.

Ree got mad at Steve when I was on the tube. I rode for a while then decided I was done so when Steve looked back at me I waved, he waved back, then I rolled off the tube and onto my back. Ree told Steve that I fell off because he waved to me. We had to explain that I had waved first to let him know I was done.

Steve got up on skis today. He skied for maybe a minute. There was very little wind and no white caps, but with all the traffic on the water today it was extremely choppy. I decided not to attempt skiing today.
