Happy Independence Day! My kids have been asking since the beginning of the summer for me to color their hair with the gel. I decided "what a perfect week to show our patriotism!"
This week we took some time off and went camping. We went to Yuba Lake. We were lucky enough to get into the campground. They had trees and each site has a patch of grass, plus shaded tables. On Wednesday night, Grandpa Ritchie stopped by to visit on his way home. Friday Mike and Lexi came to visit.
We spent most of the time trying to catch some fish, relaxing, and playing.
The kids asked when we get to go back.

You know, I want some of that gel stuff. I want to make great big huge spikes on top of my head and hang fruit from them. Maybe next year for the parade......
