Back to school and a Wedding

I'm not sure I was ready for school to start but at the same time I couldn't wait! Monday was Ree's first day of school she was up and ready at 8:00 am asking when she could leave. I didn't get a picture of her before she left but I got one as soon as she got home.

Today was Vin's first day (he had an assessment meeting with his teacher on Monday so she knows what reading level he is). I remembered to get his picture this morning.

Yesterday we were busy all day with Scott's wedding. In the morning the kids went to hang out with one of Steve's sisters while we went to the Salt Lake Temple for the wedding ceremony. After we took some pictures we picked up the kids then went to my parent's ward building for the wedding lunch. They had breakfast for lunch (it happens to be my brother's favorite meal). We had a little time before pictures and the reception so we went home to change; I didn't want the kids or me to spill lunch on our reception outfits. Then we went to the ballroom at the Provo Library. They had pictures then the reception. Scott and Kayce's favorite dessert is ice cream and M&M's, guess what they had at their reception?!? That's right an ice cream buffet. Oh yeah, and guess what girl joined and caught the bouquet? That's right...Ree. I told her she can be next to get married as long as she waits until she's 20 or older to get married.
Here is Ree, Vin, and K with Grandma Brickey and Great Grandpa Brickey at lunch.
Here is Na with Nicole, Ben, and Great Grandpa Walker, also at lunch.
Here is the Bride and Groom. Sorry it's not a very good picture.
These last two are Ree and Vin in their reception clothes.
FYI: Na and K's outfits were the same as Ree and Vin's. I forgot to get pictures of them before Steve took them home. Maybe I can get some pictures from someone or I may have to wait for the newlyweds to get back from their honeymoon.

Your kids look adorable. I love first day of school photo's. The one day out of the year where my kids actually look clean and put together.....
