Busy week

In my opinion it's been a busy week for me. At the beginning of the week we found out that one of Steve's aunts had passed away.
Monday was fairly normal with going to the gym and Family Home Evening. Then Tuesday I went to Mutual. The Young Women decorated pumpkins then took them to some people in our ward and "pumpkined" them. (Left the pumpkin on their step for their enjoyment.) Wednesday morning, while my friend, Carrilyne, watched my kids I helped collect BoxTops then we went to her house to count the BoxTops. That afternoon I sent my oldest two to their piano lessons. Thursday found me taking my two youngest to another friend, Gabby, so I could help Vin's class with their reading for about an hour. (I listen to them read books and word lists. If they do a good job I give them a new book or word list to practice at home.) That afternoon was the PTA meeting then that evening we went to the viewing for Steve's aunt.

Friday was my very busy day. At 9:00 am the school had a 2 mile fun run. The kids get donations for the school then participate in the fun run. Vin and I did the 2 miles together, we ran some and walked a bunch.

Ree did it also, she is faster and more in shape than I am, she beat us.

I went to the prize assembly for a little while then went home. (The prizes were donated by local businesses and families.) I hurried and got ready then Steve and I took Na and K with us to the funeral. After the funeral we ran a couple errands then went home to relax for a little while. After school got out I went to the school to meet with Vin's teacher and the other room mother to plan the class Halloween Party. Then I hurried to the church to help with the primary program practice and pizza party. I told the primary presidency I would help if they needed me to. After the pizza party we picked up Steve and K and went to Sherry's for dinner and visiting.

At the party we went to Mike's to play air hockey. Everyone had a blast. (Mike and Sherry share a backyard.)

Even the kids got in on the action.

Saturday was a normal day. We did laundry, some other chores, and got ready for Sunday. Today I helped with the Sunbeams during the Primary Program. Then I went to singing time and did the sharing time (it was the Sunbeam's turn and the new Sunbeam teachers were willing to have me do it). After sharing time I went to Young Women's.

It's weeks like this that make me very grateful for friends and family. I have friends who are always willing to watch my kids if I need them to. (I'll repay the favor ANY time I can!) Family who is there to support and laugh with in good times and hard times. Thank you!

You are busy but it is because you are an involved mom who loves her babies and her sweet heart. Sorry about Steve's aunt. You are going to be awesome in YW's!
