New calling

About a month ago a member of the bishopric asked me to accept a new calling, I accepted. Today they sustained me and set me apart as the new Mia-Maid advisor. I'm going to help with the primary program and do sharing time next Sunday(it's the Sunbeams' turn). I'm going to miss my Sunbeams!

I was called to be the Sunbeam teacher right before the primary program two years ago, when Vin was a Sunbeam. I moved up to CTR 5 with his class. This year I was moved to Sunbeams and have enjoyed teaching Na and her seven friends. It's been amazing watching the children grow and learn. The transition from Nursery to Sunbeams can be very difficult for some children. I had three who had a difficult time. Steve has been a wonderful support! Every Sunday, after he is done teaching Sunday School he comes into primary and helps me. I love "my kids" and will miss their excited and energetic faces every Sunday in primary. I'm also excited to get to know the Young Women.

CONGRATS! You're going to LOVE YW! And you'll be so good for those girls! If you need any ideas for activities, I have a bajillion. :) Sad about your Sunbeams, though. Change is good!

You're going to love serving in with the YW. I've been with the YW program for 4 years now and have loved every minute of it. Let me know if you need any suggestions! Good Luck.

Hey Chastina,

Love your blog. It's darling. Your third grade picture is awesome (you have Dolly Parton hair!)

I feel like I never see you, even though you're right across the street. Too bad we're not in the same ward.

Check out my blog sometime -- teckanderson.blogspot.com
