Park City

Steve felt bad that he ditched me at the beginning of the month to go watch the Red Sox. So he decided to take me to Park City to spend the night and spend some money. He informed me that I have a certain amount of money to spend only on me, I can't spend it on anyone else. We went up through Provo Canyon. Last night we stayed at Hotel Park City and had dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House. That evening we soaked in the Jacuzzi, watched Numb3rs, and enjoyed each others company. The Jacuzzi was so nice. We sat outside for part of the evening in the Jacuzzi with a fire going looking at the beautiful sky. The stars were bright and the sky, clear.

Today we went to the Tanger Outlets. I love shopping! The outlets had a bunch of sales. 30% to 70% off most items. It's fun to get name brand clothing for WalMart pricing. I still have money left even though I bought a bunch of stuff. You gotta love sales! We got each of the kids a Tommy Hilfiger T-shirt for about $6. After we finished shopping we took Parley's Canyon to Salt Lake county. We stopped at Lowe's on our way home to get blinds for the kids' rooms.

My mom stayed with the kids while we went on our date. Thanks mom!

This has been an interesting week for us. On Sunday I made some brownies. After I pulled the brownies out and turned off the oven, I went in the other room. I heard K crying/screaming, he had opened the oven and the door had shut on his fingers on his right hand. Needless to say, he ended up with blisters. Which he kept sticking in his mouth this week. His fingers have been VERY sensitive. Monday when I was cooking dinner K pulled a chair by the stove and climbed up. Which scared me. Friday morning Ree was complaining about her stomach hurting. Steve took her to the doctor and found out she has an infection. He got her some meds and apple juice. She's feeling great now. Friday morning Vin lost his second tooth. He's so excited that the tooth fairy visited Friday night. He told us that he "was awake when she came but couldn't see her because it was to dark." Thursday and Friday was UEA so the kids didn't have school. It was fun having the kids home all day.

Also, the Red Sox have tied up the series and forced a game 7. Needless to say it's been stressful and exciting. Thursday the series was 1 win 3 loses and the score was 7-0 (Tampa Bay) in the 7th. Boston came back and won 8-7. Tonight they won again 4-2.

I LOVE shopping too! I also love the outlets in Park City. I go up there all the time, especially in the winter months when Brandon goes up to snow board instruct at PCMR!

Man your kids had an exciting week it sounds like... How funny about Vin, I can picture him staying awake to see the tooth fairy how cute!

I'm so glad that you got to go out with your hubby and do some shopping for your self that's awesome!!!
