Trick or Treat

What a fun Halloween! Today Ree and Vin got to wear their costumes to school.
Here is our witch:

and Bumblebee (from Transformers):

Of course since Ree and Vin put on their costumes Na and K wanted theirs on.
Our princess:

Our Elmo:

I went to the gym this morning then I was at the school by 1:00 pm for the parade. After a run out to the Suburban to change a diaper I helped set up some games and decorations for Vin's class party. Then we went to Ree's class to do the craft and help with her class party. After school we helped clean up both rooms then came home.

Later, after dinner, we went trick-or-treating. Here are the kids ready to go:

Steve even got in on the fun:

P.S. I put on some spider earrings and a cape for my costume. I was going to go as a spiderweb but it didn't work out.

Don't you just love Halloween. If you ever feel old just participate in a young holiday.
Your whole family looked great! Way to go Steve dressing up too. Did you dress up too?

Our kids don't get to wear costumes to school. It's kind of sad, but at the same time good, 'cuz I don't have to get them all made up before school. Between Halloween parties and Ms. Denna's dance class, they have had ample opportunities to don the costumes before Halloween. Cute kids...cute costumes. I love it when mom's and dad's get into costumes, too. Darin went as a biker dude, complete with tats, earrings and a dew rag. I went as a happy little clown. We didn't get pics of Darin and I, though. How sad!
