Saturday night I went with Carrilyne, Cassi, Natalie, and Gabby to watch Twilight! We bought our tickets online. When we got to the theater, about an hour before the showtime, we got to wait in line outside the auditorium which gave us some more time for "girl talk". We were able to find five seats together in the upper section of the theater.
I went to the movie trying to keep my expectations low. (Movies based on books are rarely as good as the book in my opinion.) I enjoyed the movie! I think they did a good job introducing the basic story. Just remember, books go into a lot more detail.
I wasn't sure about Edward at first, by the end of the movie I really liked him. I loved all the Cullen's. I thought most of the characters were fairly well cast. Some scenes were extremely cheesy, but overall I thought it was pretty good.

How fun to have a girls night out!
I've heard from a lot of people that the movie was really cheesy. I know the movie is going to be nothing like the movie....which is fine. In fact a lot of people have told me that the movie follows the book really well. I just want the movie to be like any other movie: great cinematography, great acting, great visual effects, and a great cast. I'm thinking the studio may have missed the mark on some of those things.
