I love waterproof first aid tape!
You know those annoying pimples/zits that never like to come to a head? They just hurt and get bigger. My mom taught me this when I was growing up (and I still use it now): rip off a little of the waterproof tape and cover the pimple with it. No "pore strips" necessary. If the area was covered by clothes leave the tape on for about two or three days. Usually when I take the tape off the infection is at the top and I just wipe it away. No squeezing or poking needed. If the infection is still there I reapply the tape. When the pimple is on my face or other area not covered by clothing, I'll just do it at night. It takes longer for the infection to come out. The tape also helps the pain of the pimple go away. I also use this on a pimple when the infection is at the top, just so I don't poke or squeeze it.
The first time Steve saw me do this he laughed. Later he tried it. Now he is a waterproof tape user also.
I know this is gross, but I love the way waterproof tape helps get rid of zits! (FYI: I usually buy the generic brand.)

Okay, that was a nasty post. I usually just hide in the security of my own home if I have a pimple I don't want people to see. So I won't be trying the waterproof tape, but thanks for the info.
uh.....hello...... TTTTTTTTMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIII
Interesting....but weird. I may have to try it...
I will have to give that a try! I love hearing about other peoples zit remedies... After I watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding I even tried windex! Waterproof tape is definitely not the weirdest thing I've tried!
Uggh hate this stuff, I am allegic, not finding out till after a surgery on my face to have a huge cyst removed, so a nice rash I did have. Glad its good for someone.
