My sister-in-law recommended an excellent swim teacher. (Thanks Sherry!) Today was Ree and Vin's first lessons. By the end of the 20 minute lesson Ree had swam across the length of the pool by herself. By the end of Vin's 20 minute lesson he had back-floated across the width of the pool, with the teacher next to him. They have 9 more lessons over the next couple of weeks.
Ree and Vin have taken group lesson at the City Pool that were an hour long. After today I'm extremely disappointed with the City lessons, especially the group lessons.
Add that to trying to go to the gym three times in a week, Na and K have a doctor appointment tomorrow, tumbling and martial arts classes, mutual, homework, piano and whatever else comes up. Wow! what a week!
This definitely falls in the category of knowing when to say "No" or "Not right now." I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, I'm just feeling busy this week. It definitely makes me appreciate the girls night out last Saturday and want to fully enjoy each Sunday.
P.S. (Feb 3rd) We are going to O'Neal Aquatics in PG. If you want more info I can e-mail it to you.

I know what you mean! That is totally why we have to make time for us! Girls night out is going to be a monthly ritual so we can always have something to look forward too!
That is exciting that your kids did so well with their lessons! It sounds like you are way busy!
I'm glad they enjoyed it. Are you seeing JoD or her daughters?
WOW I still dont know how you keep up with it all. Thats good they did so well in their lesson's. I like private lesson better then the group ones. Better one on one..
We found that same thing out. Had put our kids in the city swim lessons year after year and eh! Put Brennan in a private lesson to help him pass stuff off for scouts and WOW! Couldn't believe the progress he made.
Life does get busy. Now that I'm not able to do all that I used to I sit here and think....why in the world did I think all of that was so important. We've had to drop almost everything and it's okay!
Darn City. I am so impressed you still find time to blog.
Wow! Who is this amazing teacher?! I need to hook up with him/her. My kids do OK in city lessons but there's always room for lots of improvement.
