A couple things I forgot

So this makes three posts in one day. I think that is a new record for me!

We had three trees in our backyard. The dogs chewed on two of them and as a result those trees died. So we went and bought a maple to replace them. Tonight we went outside to check on it and found this dragonfly:

Since we were getting the one tree we decided we wanted another to help shade our front yard. We got a flowering plum (it's the little one in the middle of the yard):

Now with four trees in the front yard we will have some nice shade, once they get big.

I've been trying to loose weight for a while. About a year ago I started exercising regularly then in March of this year I did a metabolism boosting diet. You do it for up to 8 weeks. I did it for four.

This picture is from October 2008:

This one is March 2009 (just before I started the diet):

This is today:

I've lost 20 pounds since the beginning of March. Most of the weight loss was March through May. I've been about the same weight since June. I do have more I want to loose but I'm glad that I've lost some and then have been able to stay at that weight and not gain it back! I feel like I'm able to do more without exhaustion hitting as soon as it use to. Once school starts I'm going to get off this plateau!

You look great! And I love so much that "when school starts" has such a different meaning for you and Steve than for me and Scott...good luck getting off your plateau.

You look wonderful! How does the metabolism boosting diet work? I am hoping once school starts I can work on getting back in shape more too.

Wow, that's awesome! You should do a 5k with us. Its so fun and it helps to stay motivated when you have something to work for. Kathy wants to but she's nervous. So with all of us it will be fun!! Think about it :) AF Hospital has one the end of September

That is great that you have lost that weight. I need to get motivated and lose some also. I think that I will go sit down and think about it. I guess walking around Ross with Grandma does not count. You are looking good.

You look amazing! We'll have to trade secrets. Good luck with those last couple pounds, I can't seem to lose mine. I got the first 35 off pretty easy, but I wanted 5-10 more and haven't been able to get there.
