This is how I made this:
First I had my dad cut and bend a 18-inch by 18-inch piece of sheetmetal. Then I drilled holes in it for the wire to hold it. I put plastic sticky dots on the back to protect the wall. (I found those at WalMart by supplies for hanging pictures.) I used a 15 pound wire for hanging pictures and crip beads to hold the wire. At the top I glued (used a glue stick) a paper that I found at For Every Scrapbook. The "FHE" and other words were some stickers I picked up. It would have been easier to use the vinyl lettering because it was a pain to place each letter individually. I printed pictures of each of us then I laminated them at Stevenson's Genealogy. Then glued a magnet to the back of the pictures.
That's it. Fun and easy to personalize!

On your FHE chart why did you have your dad bend the metal? I haven't ever worked with metal but you've made me interested in trying.
I think you should have a RS Enrichment group get together and do this! You could charge a fee for the cost of the metal and your dad bending it and the ladies bring the rest of their decorations. I would love to do it! Does your dad get the metal through his work or do you buy it somewhere else and have him bend it? Can you get it in different sizes? I would need a long skinny one. It is just really cool!

Nat-my dad works in heating and A/C and he can get sheet metal in any size.
Mich-I had my dad bend the metal because I wasn't planning on framing it. It has sharp edges so bending is for safety.
Kris-I was going to call you but kept forgetting to. I'm definitely going through you instead of getting stickers. It was a pain!
