May already!?!

Is it really May?

Since I'm a co-room mother for Ree's class, I met with the other room mother so we could decorate the doors that we are in charge of for Teacher Appreciation Week. The next thing that we have is the end of the year party the last week of school.

On May 3rd, Steve and I, with alot of help from Vin, fixed up the flower beds and the veggie garden. Hopefully the hail from the storm on the 6th didn't kill everything!

On May 4th, I carpooled with my Dad and Grandpa to see my cousin's twin get blessed. My cousin live past Duchesne. This is the first time I've been out there and they've lived there over six years.

On the 5th I took the day and cleaned out our computer room so my youngest sister, who just graduated from SUU (Congrats!) can move in with us until she get married; this fall.

For Mother's Day Steve and the kids took me out to lunch on Saturday. The also surprised me with breakfast in bed Sunday morning. They got me four shirts and a pair of shoes. After church on Sunday I went to my parent's house and got to talk to Kade. He sounds like he is in the missionary mode, although I could tell he missed being home.

This week my kids finish up their end of the year testing for school. On Friday there is no school then the end of the year parties and celebrations start. Ree has a bike hike on the 20th with the entire 2nd grade. Then all the kids who met the High Flyer reading goal (50 hours for the year for each of my kids) get to go to a movie on the 22nd. There is also Memorial Day, Field Day, Kindergarten Graduation for Vin, the end of the year party for Ree, then school is over for the summer. I can't believe that next year I'll have half of my kids in school for the entire school day!

Our sweet Na's right eye likes to wander. We have an appointment at the end of the month to see what steps we need to take to get it taken care of. Hopefully it will be something like an eye patch for six months.
