Yesterday, I took Vin, Na, and K to Costco with me. They usually stay with me or ride in the cart, this time they were walking by me. As I was grabbing some chicken, K started wandering. I looked down the aisle, where he had wandered, he was gone. I looked up and down a few aisles by me. No K. So then I started asking people if they'd seen a little boy in a red shirt. One lady told me she saw him with another lady who was trying to help him find his mom. I went the direction they had gone. Still no K. I went to the front and found him just as the people at the front were making the calls on their radios. Talk about a scared three year old and worried mom! I'm so glad for helpful people!
As I finished shopping he stayed close to me for a few minutes then started wandering again. I guess I'd better keep him in the cart (which he climbs out of when I turn my back) or leash him.

oh man loosing your kid in the WORST feeling ever! I used loose Averie all the time, now she has no choice but to be BUCKLED into the cart!

That is always so scary! I hate taking my kids to the store, I always try to swap with a neighbor or someting.
I just went through in the temple. it is scary.
That reminds me of the time we took our kids to Disneyland and we had them on a leash, and Kristine hated it so finally we gave in to her whineing about it and took it off. Within 5 min she was gone and we looked all over for her, finally a hour and a half later her dad finds her in the parking lot sitting on the back of the camper. I was in tears and the rest of the kids very quiet because we thought for sure we would never see her again. That can be a very scary moment. I have no idea how she ever found her way back to the truck in that huge parking lot.
That is so Scary. I am just glad you found him. I am glad the lady was a nice lady and not a bad lady.
When I was reading the story, I was thinking about Barb and when she did lose Kristine at Disneyland. Glad you found him. That is sure a horrible feeling.
Tori took off in Target when she was about 4 or 5, they had locked the store down until we found her. Very scary! Glad you found him!
